Natalia Chaparro is a designer, community herbalist, and creator of Canasto Herbal. A lifelong student of plant wisdom, she blends creativity with ancestral traditions to cultivate healing and connection. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, her 18 years abroad deepened her reverence for cultural and ecological relationships with the land. She felt a growing call to return to her roots, which led her back to the mountains of Muysca territory, where she now reweaves her bond with earth and heritage.

In Colombia, Natalia has studied agroecology and plant medicine with various teachers, integrating these traditions into her creative practice. Passionate about reconnecting people to plant wisdom, she launched Canasto Herbal podcast in 2023, a series of interviews and monologues on plants as medicine for body, mind, and spirit. Today, it reaches listeners in 24+ countries, building a global (primarily Spanish-speaking) community united by botanical traditions.

By 2024, Canasto Herbal expanded to offer handcrafted remedies, and began hosting workshops at her home in the Andean mountains. Natalia also fosters collective learning through initiatives like Festival Herbolaria, which she founded and directs, creating community gatherings where plant knowledge thrives.
