Jesse Tobin has spent most of her herbal career as a mother, partner, and community member. She is a graduate of Prescott College and of David Winston’s 2-year herbal medicine course. She also studied and trained with several elders of the Braucherei healing tradition, most notably of the Oley Freundschaft. Her work has been to revive this tradition of spiritual and physical healing and to reunite its herbal and spiritual aspects. 

Jesse is, above all, an herbalist for her community and strives to find ways to help people find an entry to their healing path. Jesse spent several years teaching a full-year course in Braucherei tradition and history. She has recently begun to teach workshops and classes on these topics again. Jesse is owner/partner in Primordia Mushroom Farm, where she runs the kitchen and produces high-quality powdered mushroom extracts and foods containing these extracts.
