Women's Herbal Gathering
September 13-15, 2024
Our COVID Precautions
We are joyfully gathering in person after a long, challenging period of separation due to the current pandemic. Since we have vulnerable members in our community, we have made a few changes (all subject to change).
The Women’s Herbal Gathering is a place where you can come, enjoy your stay, soak up the love, and know that your boundaries and needs are respected. Let’s do this!
Tickets: https://botanicwise.wpengine.com/event/womens-herbal-gathering/tickets/
Our Covid safety protocol is simple, safe, and respectful. It creates possibility, safety, comfort, and togetherness. It means we can gather! We can laugh, sing, and enjoy the gardens! It means we can watch the sunrise together. We can feel the inspiration of a good class together. We can create this sacred space together to be held and cherished!
Thank you for reading 🙂
Safety Basics:
- Masks will be provided and required in our indoor spaces
- Most classes are held in outdoor tents with properly spaced seating
- Choose a nametag color to indicate your physical boundaries
Masks:
Masks are required in the indoor spaces and optional in outdoor spaces, including outdoor tents. We’d love for you to bring your own mask, but there will be some available if you need one.
Classes and Keynote Events:
Some of the venues are indoor spaces, such as the Oak Hall and Herbal Emporium. Oak Hall has newly installed windows that will remain open, vendors will be spaced appropriately, and only the keynote events will be indoors. All other classes are held outside in tents and streamed in our online community.
See the schedule for the full lineup of classes, times, and locations
No Kid Camp this year 🙁
We’re going to have to wait until next year to host the WHG kid camp. Hopefully, this offers an opportunity for you to take some time to focus on learning and reconnecting with friends. Otherwise, we hope you’ll join our online conference and at next year’s event! Children 12 and up are welcome to attend with a regular ticket.
Camping and Meals
Camping is available Friday night. You can arrive at 2PM and set up camp. Camp breakdown will happen after the closing keynote on Saturday. See our list of accommodations here.
We’re hoping to announce at least 1 food vendor at the gathering – but to be prepared please bring your own nourishing food to keep your tum happy.
The Tea Temple is ON, offering hot water and tea for free! Cups will be available but we encourage you to bring your own mug.
Water stations will be available to everyone.
Online Events
The Women’s Herbal Gathering has a bonus. All ticket holders will also receive access for the online conference, which is a series of events in the BotanicWise Online Community. You’ll be able to attend live stream events, watch recordings, stay connected others, and have a list of classes you can refer to at any time. You can even sit outside and stream the keynote speakers if you prefer to stay outdoors.
Refund and Cancellation (oh no!)
If you have health concerns before the event you can receive a full refund. We encourage everyone to self-monitor before arrival to keep everyone safe.
Full refunds are available to anyone with any covid concerns. We will email a self-evaluation prior to the event.
If for any reason the event is canceled this year your ticket will convert to an online conference ticket and you will receive a partial refund. If you want a full refund just let us know and we’ll take care of you!
